The Samsung E250 mobile phone came out in late October. But now, two years later, it is still a chosen brand by many including me. I bought my Samsung E250 last September 2008 so now it is four months with me. My Samsung E250 is my very first phone that I bought myself. Here is my review of the Samsung E250:Basically, the Samsung E250 is affordable. This phone is not a high-end phone like the latest Samsung models. This phone is basic but with a reasonable multimedia support. The phone is tri-band; it is very friendly to travellers. The screen size is also huge in 2.0 inches. If you want a phone with a large font, this is it. The Samsung E250 is a slider phone so there's no lock funtion actually. It supports up to 2GB of microSD card. The 2GB would support videos, mp3s, pictures and Java games. The camera is only VGA (640x480 pixels) though and is not really clear. It is hard to shoot pictures in poorly-lit environments. The video is also of poor quality.
The Samsung E250 supports Java games but installing the games is the worst thing that I ever did with this phone. Installing games is not easy as just transferring the jar files to the phone. There's a long and exhaustive process entailing it. I even forgot how to do it, but I really don't need games in my phone anyways.

The Samsung E250 also supports web browsing. In my experience, the speed is fast and the web menus (i.e. bookmarking, etc.) are good enough. The font again, is big. The phone's battery also doesn't drain fast. Just make sure you don't overcharge it. Here are more features of the Samsung E250 phone.

Final Notes:
The Samsung E250 is a basic phone making it affordable. As you see, the specs are not very high-end and are the most basic. If you are a person who care more about function, a basic phone like Samsung E250 is the phone for you. Here in the Philippines, I bought it with a price of around PhP5000. That amount is already good with the features the E250 provides.
